Terms of Service Version 1

By using the Logan City Roleplay Bot (“the Bot”) & Logan City Beta ("beta"), you agree to the following Terms of Service. These terms are designed to ensure fair, secure, and appropriate use of the Bot and its features within Discord servers.

Bot Usage

By interacting with the Bot, you acknowledge and accept that:

• The Bot is used only within Logan City Roleplay, primarily for roleplay, moderation, automation, and logging purposes.

• You must have a valid Discord account to use Bot features.

• You are responsible for how you interact with the Bot.

Data Collection & Usage

The Bot may collect the following information for internal server functionality:

• User IDs, message IDs, and usernames

• Adjustment logs (e.g., infractions, promotions)

• Role assignments and status changes

• Activity such as feedback submissions, command usage

We do not store, share, or use personal data for any purpose outside the operation of the Bot & Beta. Logs are only accessible to authorized staff members.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Abuse or spam Bot commands

• Attempt to bypass or exploit Bot functionality

• Use the Bot to harass, threaten, or impersonate others

• Reverse-engineer, clone, or tamper with the Bot

Abuse of the Bot or Beta may result in being blacklisted from using it and or banned.

Command Permissions

Certain Bot commands are permission-restricted (e.g., roleplay, staff adjustments) and only usable by designated server staff. Attempting to use or override restricted commands without appropriate permissions is prohibited.

Availability & Reliability

• We aim to provide 24/7 Bot uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

• The Bot may go offline for maintenance or unexpected technical issues without prior notice.

• The developers are not responsible for data loss or errors caused by user misuse.

Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Major changes will be announced via the Server Update channel. Continued use of the Bot after changes implies your acceptance of the new terms.
